SAFETY & DRIVERS

Rickman Transport enforces the highest safety standards and continuously exceeds our competitors' national safety scores.

All new drivers must have a CSA Score </= 100, and our average score is 7.21. To further prioritize safety, we offer Safety Bonus Programs where over 74% of drivers qualify.

We have industry-low driver turnover — almost 1 in 4 drivers has worked with us for >12 months — and our first driver is still with Rickman.

 

TECHNOLOGY

At Rickman Transport, we invest in the latest technology that is typically offered only by national companies, including McLeod and Geotab. Leveraging industry-leading software provides many benefits, including:

  • All jobs and driver performance are tracked in real-time, which allows for full job transparency, high billing accuracy, and no missed information because of delayed paperwork.

  • Key driver interactions are required digitally, from applying -> screening -> job tracking -> payment. Our mandatory monthly safety testing is online too.

As jobs are active, our team is monitoring all components both on-site and afar. Strong collaboration between our Drivers, Coordinators, Dispatchers, and Log Auditors ensures jobs are executed effectively, safely, and on-time.
